Learn to Swim is a state grant program sponsored by the Middlesex Family YMCA that allows second grade students enrolled in Middlesex County Elementary School to attend two weeks of swimming lessons. I organized the 150+ students into three groups based on their initial assessment- beginner, intermediate, and advanced. In accordance with the required grant guidelines, I constructed daily lesson plans consisting of stroke techniques, water and sun safety, foundations of diving, and a game for the end of each lesson.
